Farcor Studios

FarCor studios, a production company based in Los Angeles wanted to refresh their identity. The only requirement was that the new identity had a contemporary style and that it had a circular element (their old logo had a generic swoosh and they had a hard time parting with it).

The new logo was designed to be used as a variety of lockups, or if the application was appropriate, the mark could be used separately from the type.

Calibra Medical

Calibra Medical, a new company specializing in insulin delivery systems needed an identity that was clean and appropriate for the medical field without looking too clinical. Ultimately the logo would live on packaging and websites for their products, and should not draw focus away from the product logo and messaging.

After a fairly large exploration, we settled on a simple typographic solution; shying away from complicated marks or augmented letter shapes.

Boogie Superstar was a game for tween girls. Basically there was no way we were not going to put a star in the logo. Like with most games, the logo was developed before the game was finished so we went through many rounds of exploration trying to narrow down the right feel for the logo without having seen the game. Initially we skewed towards a more gritty and rock feel (although still very Disney channel) but at the end went back to a more "pop" look.

This logo was part of a larger packaging exploration which can be viewed here.

MySims Party

Fun shapes, bevels and shadows and complimentary colors oh my. Custom party type was fun to make. Of course there is also the obligatory container that helps the whole thing work against the busy key art.

This MySims Party logo was developed before the new MySims franchise look was rolled out where the product title is smaller and reads after the MySims logo.

Final key art was concepted by HCI and sketched and illustrated by Picture Plane Imaging.
