Ad concept playing on the notion that there is more packed in a Blu-ray disc. For the magazine, a die cut on the first page shows the prince and princess but they appear to be on a subdued background. The turn of the page reveals the color, sharpness (and presumably extra content) that the consumer would get in this Blu-ray release.

Capcom was getting ready to release Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 on the Xbox Arcade and approached HCI to come up with a style guide for their toy packaging and merchandise. We at HCI developed the look for this year's merch and created plenty of supporting elements (patterns, textures) as well as lots of ready to go, pre-composed designs (icons / badges, borders) to make this guide as useful and as simple to follow as possible.

Ah the cutest of all Star Wars franchises. LEGO Star Wars has some awesome games in its line-up, which is what makes creating any sort of collateral for these games so great. We spiced up this game manual with LEGO enacted scenes of some iconic Star Wars moments and peppered in some lego pieces as containers for headlines and pagination.

Yep, game manuals used to come in full color.
